Jamie, in an ideal world, would be surrounded by friends, family and an unlimited supply of miraculously non-fattening lamb chops, grilled to perfection.
... is always open arms. If you close your arms about love you will find that you are left holding only yourself."
-Leo Buscaglia
Just when I thought we were making progress, my love. Guess it's back to square one.

Well...
... yesterday, I received the most hits I've gotten in quite a while, from quite a few different IP addresses, with one directed from Google for "azimah alipah from jis". Sticking my old high school in there wasn't all that necessary, mind you, since I am the only Azimah Alipah in the whole of Brunei (or at least to my knowledge). Ah well.
Feel free to leave your anonymous questions and/or scathing comments on my Formspring, my lovelies. Or, if you're (hopefully) reading with an open mind and think of my blog and I in more endearing terms, please do follow me on Twitter (:

The...
... best I can do is try to show you, How to love with no fear.
For someone who says you'd still consider me your best friend no matter what, you didn't seem all that concerned about how I'd feel. I wouldn't, couldn't, hate you, m'love. But at least let me be human enough to feel some sort of sorrow.
One bruised heart is enough. Let her down gently, when if the time comes. And if it doesn't, then I'll be happy for you.
Or at least try to be. No promises.
Good luck.

"Even...
... after all this time, The sun never says to the earth, "You owe me." Look what happens with A love like that. It lights the whole sky."
- Hafez Shirazi
The world has a fantastically absurd number of languages. The English language, although is the most universally spoken, sometimes falls short when trying to capture a multitude of feelings; it is by deciphering and dissecting the technicalities of the sentences and spoken words that one can hope to understand the emotions conveyed.
It's not my story to tell, I'll leave that to you. And this could very well come across as casual, perhaps even dismissive. But babygirl...
I'm really happy for you.

"I...
... believe that the very purpose of life is to be happy. From the very core of our being, we desire contentment. In my own limited experience I have found that the more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being. Cultivating a close, warmhearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It helps remove whatever fears or insecurities we may have and gives us the strength to cope with any obstacles we encounter. It is the principal source of success in life. Since we are not solely material creatures, it is a mistake to place all our hopes for happiness on external development alone. The key is to develop inner peace.”
- Tenzin Gyatso.
Here's to turning over a new leaf, my loves. To your health, and mine. Cheers.
Also, Ayat-Ayat Cinta is an awesome read. You can download the .pdf file here; 313 pages and I loved every moment.
