Hark.
It's human nature to try and justify an action otherwise frowned upon by society, or even deny it altogether. A few hours ago I wanted to vent my anger towards a friend for her seemingly unconscious behaviour of flirting with guys I just so happened to mention beforehand as being cute or attractive. Now I admit I'm just jealous, plain as day; jealous of her for having everything I've wanted: beauty, talent, and a
je ne sais quoi that leaves men wanting more. Now, I'm no Ugly Betty but if we were to walk into a bar together, chances are I'll be referred to as the "funny friend".
The worst thing is, I find pleasure in her misery, because it just means that certain aspect of my life is in better condition than hers.
But I shan't apologise; everyone has just as much potential of acting the way I've been. Preaching about how you should feel during certain situations rather than actually searching deeper, and finding what you
actually feel, to me seems a waste of time. I'm not telling anyone to start hurling tomatoes at their bitch of choice, but having a little insight does have a somewhat calming effect.
On me, anyways.
