My...
... 6-kilo cat, Panda, is a 10-month old male with bright green eyes and the sissiest meow. I sit on him whenever he gets in my way, and he doesn't seem to mind. He's pretty huge for his age, but is a bit lethargic, and is more of a gargoyle perched on my front steps rather than an adventurer like my other cat, Aki. He'll also look at you in the eyes and stare into your soul like he's trying to suck out all your will so you'll feed him for the twentieth time that day. With a skill like that, he doesn't need to do much to get attention, and as far as I know, he's not all that wont to wander around my neighbourhood.
So for the life of me, I have no idea how he could've gotten a distinct paint stain on his tail. Granted, his tail's long and he brandishes it like a whip, so maybe he brushed it up against a wet wall; but for some strange reason he's been a bit more vocal than he usually is, like he wants to tell me something, so I'm not going to rule out the idea that someone used my cat's tail as a makeshift paintbrush.
And right now i'm feeling slightly suspicious of the man who's working on building the shed behind my house. This is the same man whose voice was the first thing I heard a few mornings ago in a medley of meows, complete with intonation, which let me know he either:
a) speaks Cat;
b) is slightly insane; or
c) is simply tapping into his inner child in all its glorious abandon, since I suppose he wasn't quite expecting some to listen to him talk to a cat.
Being quite ecentric myself I opted for (c) at first, but when I saw the paint on Panda's tail I started contemplating (b) as being slightly more plausible. Mind you, when I say insane I don't mean anything to offend the mentally handicapped; I mean the kind of insane that was featured in a Disney movie about a lady who made clothes out of animal fur.
My ninja skills will prove valuable for the next few days, as I spy on my target.
Ninja... detective... skills.
Yeah.
