This...
... is exactly how all Sundays should be like.

Keep it funkeh, m'loves.

I'm...
... sorry that I only look for You when I feel like this. And that's almost always the case, isn't it? The way you just take things for granted, and then suddenly you realise that you should've gotten your priorities straight. But hey, I'd rather not have yet another obscure, sad post. Well, the obscurity I don't mind so much. Sometimes it's nice to have my closest friends actually ask me what I go on about, which makes me think that I am either:

a) a mysterious creature whose grasp of the many intricacies of the English language enable me to compose an alternate reality [insert gasps of awe here]; or

b) I don't tell everyone everything.

And sadly for my ego and her desire to amaze everyone with her literary prowess, it's actually the latter choice.

It's not so much that I don't trust people; I do. Well, a handful of people, really. But I don't really... divulge that much personal information with any one person. I mean, I tell people things, I talk about things, but that's really the problem for me, because when you're talking to someone, you have to make sense, or else you just end up being known as the weird chick who talks in nonsensical sentences. Which, by the way, would be quite a good time to wear a green bodysuit with question marks all over it.

... I'll look into that.

When I write, I tend to use commas and semi-colons liberally, but it's because I write the way that I speak. It's not so much that I write to tell people how I feel; this is merely an outlet for myself, because sometimes God knows I can't make heads or tails about the myriad of things that go on in my mind. I don't attempt to be obscure when I am; I just am. The words, the syntax, they make sense in my mind but only up to the point where I don't think about them. The moment I do, they seem to launch into a whirlpool and my eyebrows disappear into my hairline.

Oh, and as blasphemous as this might seem, I don't really re-read the posts that I've written, just because when I've written something down, it seems much clearer to me, so I don't bother reading them again. So I know I make grammatical errors every now and then, but just think of it as a crime of passion, the little trips and stumbles you take when you're skipping through a field of sunflowers.

Ah I love sunflowers.

I guess what I'm saying is... it's nice to not have to make sense.

Love love love.

Special shoutout to Sumi, whom I think might be my first "fan" follower on Twitter :D And thank you to the random stranger who posted that very insightful question on my Formspring, please keep them coming.

Now...
... I know as of late my blog's been quite calm and all, but I find this humorous:

Lol. And I shall make sure to summon the Dark Lord the next time I cook as well. Although my idea of who the true "Dark Lord" is would require Voldemort and Darth Vader battling it out to the finish. Which would be stellar.

Y'know...
... what kinda sucks?

Having someone tell you they're not looking for a relationship, and so you both try to hold off using too many terms of endearment and the L word. And then finding out that he's been using it sparingly with the very next woman he met.

See, it's never about meeting the right person at the wrong time. Any time can be the right one. It just means you're the wrong person.

Simple.

This...
... seems to be one of those instances when I was much happier not knowing. At least then I would've been able to believe you.

And I'd rather not be here during the inevitable implosion.

I miss [the old] you, my friend.

Come back to us.

Just when I thought we were making progress, my love. Guess it's back to square one.

Well...
... yesterday, I received the most hits I've gotten in quite a while, from quite a few different IP addresses, with one directed from Google for "azimah alipah from jis". Sticking my old high school in there wasn't all that necessary, mind you, since I am the only Azimah Alipah in the whole of Brunei (or at least to my knowledge). Ah well.

Feel free to leave your anonymous questions and/or scathing comments on my Formspring, my lovelies. Or, if you're (hopefully) reading with an open mind and think of my blog and I in more endearing terms, please do follow me on Twitter (:

The...
... best I can do is try to show you,
How to love with no fear.

For someone who says you'd still consider me your best friend no matter what, you didn't seem all that concerned about how I'd feel. I wouldn't, couldn't, hate you, m'love. But at least let me be human enough to feel some sort of sorrow.

One bruised heart is enough. Let her down gently, when if the time comes. And if it doesn't, then I'll be happy for you.

Or at least try to be. No promises.

Good luck.

"Even...
... after all this time,
The sun never says to the earth,
"You owe me."
Look what happens with
A love like that.
It lights the whole sky."

- Hafez Shirazi

The world has a fantastically absurd number of languages. The English language, although is the most universally spoken, sometimes falls short when trying to capture a multitude of feelings; it is by deciphering and dissecting the technicalities of the sentences and spoken words that one can hope to understand the emotions conveyed.

It's not my story to tell, I'll leave that to you. And this could very well come across as casual, perhaps even dismissive. But babygirl...

I'm really happy for you.
